Major documentation update
We’ve been working recently on a major update of Webcampak documentation, moving from a wiki-based documentation to a documentation based upon docbook XML format.
Our main objectives are to make the document easier to read, to maintain and to ease conversion in various electronic formats (such as HTML and PDF).
If I quote wikipedia on Docbook:
**DocBook** is a [semantic](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Semantics) [markup language](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Markup_language) for technical [documentation](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Documentation). It was originally intended for writing technical documents related to computer hardware and software but it can be used for any other sort of documentation.[[1]](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DocBook#cite_note-0) As a semantic language, DocBook enables its users [to create document content in a presentation-neutral form](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Separation_of_presentation_and_content) that captures the logical structure of the content; that content can then be published in a variety of formats, including [HTML](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTML), [XHTML](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XHTML), [EPUB](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EPUB), [PDF](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portable_Document_Format), [man pages](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manual_page_(Unix)), [Web help](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_help)[[2]](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DocBook#cite_note-webhelp-1.76.1-1) and [HTML Help](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Compiled_HTML_Help), without requiring users to make any changes to the source.
There might still be a few errors (syntax, grammar, spelling) but we will be reviewing the document again in the next few days. Regarding layout we are currently using freebsd stylesheet.
